I just purchased a used older model Charles Daly O/U 12 guage trap gun made in Miroku, Japan. My question is about the chokes, I believe they used the same markings as the older Brownings.. The top barrel is marked + which I think is full choke, the bottom barrel is marked ++- which I think is Imp Mod.. Can anyone can give me a definite answer to this???? thanks.... 0 -
The Charles Daly mdl 1911-A1 FS automatic new in 1998 Daly guns have been imported since 1996 by KBI inc. from Japan, spain, and Italy.
The 1911 is a relativly inexpensive waepon compared to the better know manufactures, around 400.00

Some like them, some don't. My guess is that you might still need a reliability job on one to make it fly. I'd rather spend a bit more and get a gun that works right out of the box. I've seen a couple locally used for $350.

I have a CD FS. Paid $380 at a gunshow.
Good quality and accurate right out of
the box. Did not have to "do" anything
to it. Added a Ciener .22 conversion and
it works too. Add a set of Woff springs
and changed to 45Super. It shoots just as
good. Worth the money IMHO.

I have not came across a Charles Daily that I didnt like. They are becoming more and more popular all the time. KBI imports the charles Daily, which is made in Hungary. They dedicate alot of time toward craftmanship. Hope this helps!!
