  The date of your model 11 can be determined from the letters stamped on the barrel near the receiver. It will be something like P W or C R. If you will post these I, or someone else, will post the month and year of manufacture.

  C is the code for the 4th month, April. R is the code for 1924.

  ???? doesn't that code tell us the date the barrel was manufactured.... The barrels are interchangeable between guns???? Isn't there a serial # tracability to a year of manufacture???

  The barrel and reciever have the same serial number on them.
