  Yes they are interchangable--they're exactly the same.

  Comp is correct. Only, I believe that a 180 series mini 14 might not work with 181 series and above mini 14 or any mini 30. Don't know the specifics, but I believe that's the only exception, so any 181 series and later mini 14 will fit any mini 30. GD
