Checking C & R License online?

Is there a way to check C & R license validity on-line? My visit to the BATF websight didn't shed much light.........

  Did you get to EZ Check?
  I have no idea if C&R is on there,
  That is where I go to check reg FFL.

  Not law, BATF administrative decision.
  
  When the online check was first put up, you could check both FFL's & C&R's. However, BATF got some complaints from C&R holders, and decided that, since they weren't in business, that it unnecessarily invaded their privacy.
  
  I think that an argument could be made that it is as easy to alter a photocopy of a C&R as it is to alter a photocopy of an FFL, and that this could result in an illegal transfer.

  Putting names and addresses of C & R licensees online would be like putting a target on their back for would-be gun thieves. If they did put them on line I'd probably turn in my license and ask them to remove my name from the list.

  It's correct that they do not publish the names of C&R license holders. I got mine recently and that question came up with the ATF agents. They assured me that my name would not be posted.
