Gun safe
I'm looking into getting a gun safe with fire protection. Only thing is I'm kinda stupid on this subject. I looked on line and they all seem about the same to me. My price range is gonna be around $500.00 and I'm thinking 10 to 12 guns should be plenty big enough. Any opinions or info would be greatly appreciated.

Need help in regards to purchasing a good safe for our home. I have been trying to find a source to compare different companies.

I totaly agree, however; when your kids freinds come to visit your home, they may not know about guns and may get into yours! Get the safe and teach at the same time. 0 -
I think alot of the safe purchases are not so much about the kids, they learn when taught, I think the real reason is the dis honest visitor that visits when your at work or on vaction and takes your property. 0 -
I have a safe, but always have had a loaded gun not in the safe. I use to keep a trigger lock on this gun till I felt confident enough to remove the trigger lock although my daughter always knew where the key was. The whole purpose of the trigger lock was incase one of her friends found the gun when they were younger. She was never to play with it and never, never show any of her friends the gun. If they wanted to see it, I would show it to them. We shot enough to not have a curiosity about the gun, I always prayed. It was understood that the gun was ther for one purpose, to stop an unwanted perpertrater in our home. 0
