Boxed percussion pistols

I acquired a boxed set of English Officers percussion pistols made by Collins of London. Excellent condition and each measure 9 3/4", with nice engraving on the metal, and diamond design grips. Barrel is 5 1/4" long. All accessories including powder flask, ball mold, ramrods, turn tool, and caps and balls. Barrel inside diameter measures 12mm, and is smoothbore. Tight action and everything works. Can anyone please advise on how to calculate age? Wood box has orig. felt and hardware. Any info on this set would greatly be appreciate. I do have images if you wish emailed to you.

  This is potentially a very valuable set of pistols and should be seen by an expert in antique firearms for a proper valuation.
  
  If there's a large museum in your area, try contacting them for a reference to somebody qualified to appraise these firearms.

  czek2: You have a Cased Set of Pistols..Not Boxed...! To evaluate these Pistol correctly, you'll have to have them looked at by a collector or Curator that deals in Antiques..A 'CASED SET' is always more valuable than a Single Piece of the same grade and style. A photo would be advised by this author for Insurance purposes...And keep in Mind...Do Not Cock or Use or Abuse these Pistols...If you break a Spring or chip a piece of wood out of the Stock...You can turn a $5000.00 Cased Set of Pistol's into a $1500.00 Pair of Pistols...!
