Early Percussion Pistol
I recently acquired an English Transition Revolver or Bar Hammer Revolver. Octagonal barrel 4" in length. The cylinder of six shots is engraved. It has walnut grips and frame has engraving also. The bar hammer has been slightly damaged by people rolling the cylinder by hand. The cylinder will not advance when trigger pulled. Looks good but mechanically not operational. Overall it would be in fair condition. Broken or missing parts are a problem because they are probably scarcer than hen's teeth. I paid $200 Canadian. Does anyone know what its value is in its present condition? or if it was excellent and in fireable condition? Any information on this early pistol would be appreciated.................squeakyc PS: Sorry if I posted this twice.

Squeaky: You neglected to give a Makers Name or Proof Marks discription...! If You can Post or send me a Photo I'll see if I can Cross referance this Weapon against my Data Base....Best...

Forgot to add that in description. There are British Proof marks but the makers name is tough to read but looks like Cour???. Name is not very clear...............squeakyc 0
