Olympic Arms Conversion .40 cal

I am looking for any information or experiences people have had with the Olympic Arms .40 cal conversions for AR-15 rifles. I have a Bushmaster XM-15 E2S and am thinking about purchasing the kit. Thanks in advance for any help.

  I have a PCR 45 carbine. The upper/lower fit wasnt that great, but the weapon shoots very well. Very accurate. Very fun. The mags are a bit expensive.

  I`m an Olympic Arms stocking Dealer and I have sold a lot of the small caliber carbines(9,.40 and 45), my customers have done nothing but rave about them,the upper/lower make up is not that good when matched with other rifles, they mate perfect when the upper and lower are from the same manufacturer, the reason the mags are a bit more then most is because the block is welded to the back of the mag not put internaly in the magwell, this procese takes time because a perfect weld must be placed on it for it to work correctly

  I own a olympic arms .45 acp upper and its great. Its very accurate and reliable. Because of its blowback style action you can shoot cast bullets in it for cheap plinking. I did a side by side test between the Marlin camp 45 and the Oly 45 and the Oly won in every way.

  My PCR 45 was purchased as a complete rifle. The upper lower fit is too sloppy. I was able to tighten it up with an accu wedge. Still a good weapon, though.

  I sure wouldnt get one in .40 short and weak. There's n;o cheap milsurp ammo in that caliber, and if you want power, either the .45 or the 223 sure outshine the .40. In fact, in a carbine barrel, some of the 9mm jhp's start looking pretty "peppy". Like the Corbon 90 gr, at 1700+ fps, and 600+ ft lbs.
