Weaver makes mounts for non drill rifles so that you can drill the gun for the area that works best for you. Brownells has more mounts possibly tomount on your gun with a claming method or possibly a company called SARCO.

Put a Leupold base on it, drilled and tapped. A clamp on mount won't hold its zero for nothing.

Whatever kind of mount you use, if you actually want it to hold a zero, then buy the best. Cheap scopes and mounts give cheap performance. A lesson I've learned the hard way.

If I'm wrong please correct me, I won't be offended.

B-Square makes mounts for both rifles. Some don't require gunsmithing. Take a look at www.b-square.com.
