Unertl scope

I have a 10 power unertl scope that I want to mount on a 22 rimfire. Also would go for a small centerfire like a 218. What I want to know is what model should I look for in winchester or a remington. I want it to already be tapped. I just can tap a old rifle like that. I'm going to post on the want adds here aswell.

  Does anybody know if Unertl still repairs their scopes?

  prices range from 435.00 for a small game 18" 3x, 4x, or 6x up to 1100.00 for a 2" programmer 200 (10x-36x). lyman made reproductions and had a similer product line(may still). even with used scopes you will pay a premium.mine is a 16x 1-1/2" target scope, long tube with spings and rings. its about 50 years old and unertl values it in its present condition at around 850.00. i still use it in compitition, and it cant be beat(looks neat too).there rated as good out to 250 yds.
