EEZOX

I've also recently tried EEZOX on the recommendation of a shooting buddy of mine.

It seems to be a good product, but being somewhat of the "old school" mentality of Hoppes #9 and RemOil, EEZOX seems to be a little too heavy to be a good solvent and a little light to be a good lubricant.

I'll probably still clean my guns with Gunscrubber and Hoppes #9, go over it with EEZOX and put a dab of light grease on the high load areas like the slide rails.

    Just my opinion.

I love the stuff, though it seems to be a superb protectant and good lubricant; while CLP is a better solvent.
I don't use either as a solvent BTW, unless looking at a C&R that needs to be soaked in a zip-lock bag full of CLP overnight- then the "solvent" action of CLP makes the next days cleaning a breeze.
