Would like some input from anyone who has replaced the stock plastic MSH on a Colt 1991 A1 w/ a steel unit. Ease of switch and recommendation as to brand of MHS appreciated. Thanks

  The NRA sells a reprint on the 1911/1911A1 for about $4 that any government model owner should have.
  
  Any make replacement MSH should be fine, but I'd use a Colt, preferably one for the "reissued" 1911A1.
