    the chambers are also "fluted", that is the reason for the lines on the cases when they are ejected. the flutes allow the flow of gas past the casings. The marks are carbon from the firing of the round. And as saxon said, don't shoot it with your vehicle to the right of the weapon, it will throw the casings so hard, it will chip the paint on the car. (no joke), I did it!
