Remington 870 Wingmaster
I just got a Remington 870 Wingmaster 16 gauge in very good or better condition. Sports a 28" full choked barrel. No vent rib. I believe this gun to have been bought by the original owner in 1960. Anyone know what its value may be. And no It aint for sale.[:D]

I was in the market for a 12 gague Wingmaster. Yesterday I saw one at a local gun shop but it was a 20 gague (28 in. bbl). It was $200. Although I wanted a 12, 200 seems like a really good price for this gun. Did I miss out? What's normal retail on this gun?

I saw a Wingmaster 20 ga. with vent rib barrel going for $400, $200 sounds like a steal...

I would definantly buy that gun. In my oponion Remington is of top quality. If for some reason you dont like it, I would say you surely can get your money back.
Good Luck.

Well, I bought it. It was used, but given these guns' repuatation for being long lived, I went for it. It also didn't hurt that the shop owner knocked off $20, when he saw my initial hesitation. In realtion to another recent topic, he has also eared a lot more of my business as my regular gun shop has been sh***ng on me lately. Thanks to all who posted on this topic.
