Anyone know anything about Seeadler-Optik

These are touted to be high quality 30mm German built scopes at a reasonable price. The "salesman" says on a par with Zeiss or Swarovski. Ive been looking for a 30mm tubed scope that didnt cost so much. I also believe you get what you pay for. I guess my question is Are these a quality scope?

  You can bet your bottom Euro, that if they are on a par with Swarovski or Zeiss, they will cost like Swarovski or Zeiss. There are no freebies in optics. At best there are some better buys with in a price rangeIf you don't want to pay for top European glass like Schmidt and Bender (and I don't either!) look to Burris or Leupold in 30mm tubes.

  very good glass for the money - I have them and they are very well made. They are medium priced and you get what you pay for.

  What would you compare them to. Leupold, Burris, Tasco?
