2-9/16" vs 2-3/4" shells
I have a 1939 model Browning Sweet 16. The barrel is marked "2-9/16" shells".
1.(Dumb Question) I cannot shoot 2-3/4" shells with this, right?
2. Are 2-9/16" shells still made or available?
3. Can the gun be reworked to handle 2-3/4" shells? Any idea how expensive this would be?
Thanks for any and all help. Mark

You can still find them but there hi . You can also have your shotgun bored out for the others.I don't how much for either. Hope this helps some. 0 -
That sweet 16 is a fine old classic. I would pay for the 2 9/16 shells before I would alter the 16. 0
