New metal Remington 597 magazines?
Has anyone tried Remington's new metal magazines for the 597? Did it really fix the feed problems any?

I have had several customers send in the old plastic ones to Remington
and exchange for metal and they still say that there is no difference. I know some of the new 597's are coming out of the factory with metal mags. Guys arent too happy here with either mag.0 -
i got a new metal one while ago but havent used it but once or twice ....seems better to me, a lot smoother when i load the clip, but like i said i have only used it once or twice.

Below is the web site that has a lot remarks concerning the 597, mag's, ejectors, etc. Check it out. I just put a new target hammer in my 22 mag. and the pull weight is now 1 lb!

Oh, man, now look what you did. You had to show me that site. I started looking at all the pictures of all those really preeeeeeeetttttty 10/22's, and got to thinking again. And bad things always happen when I get to thinking about guns. Smoke starts comming out my ears, my eyes get really big, and a big smile comes across my face, and my get hard.....uh, I didn't say that.... and I start spending more money.
I'm starting to think of how much fun, and fairly inexpensive it would be to build me a couple of 10/22's...
