Used Brass
I have about 100 lbs of spent 5.56, 7.62 and 30 caliber cartridges. Should I sell them as scrap brass or try to find someone who would want to reload them?

As of right now I don't reload, but I save my brass. I don't plan on reloading in the near future. Where can I sell my brass and do I have to seperate the calibers? 22cal., 380cal., 9mm, 38sp.cal., 357cal., 45cal. and 7.62x39
Should I throw the steel casings away?

You can sell your brass right on GunBroker. I'd separate it by caliber.

R9r, no one wants steel cases. Keep the brass separated by caliber or be prepared to realize less money; most (not all) guys are looking for specific calibers and aren't going to put any money into one or more which they do not wish. ".22 Cal."? I presume you mean CF brass? If RF, save for the scrap dealer. 0 -
Good advice. Want some more? Pitch any Berdan primed cases. Look in the case. If it has two flasholes at the bottom, it is not economically reloadable. Keep only boxer primed brass, with a single central flashole. To recap, pitch steel, copper, and aluminum cases, and sort by caliber.

I wasn't thinking when I listed 22cal. just one of the calibers I shoot. I still think I'll save it and recycle it. Do they put Berdan primers in Brass? I have some in steel (Wolf ammo).

Chunk the wolf brass, and check the other stuff to see if its berdained. If you have the time a patience, seperate everthing by cartirdge type. Also if you have any nickel RIFLE brass, I'd throw it away to. That stuffs a one use only thing.
I keep all my brass in big ziplock bags, and when those get full, then they go to 1gallon buckets, when those get full, I start to crank out some more handloads.
I just wish I had a dollar for every gun I wanted, then I'd be a rich man.0 -
Yes, some of the Military Brass has Berdan Primers.
I have sold a ton of brass on GB over the past couple of years. Most buyers are looking for once fired brass.0 -
If anyone has any of that "single use" nickel plated rifle brass, send it to me. I'll even help out on the postage. Thanks Mobuck

You were asking about nickled brass. I had to wait until I got my order in until I posted this.
