Winchester Model ?????
My Grandfather bought my Mother a Winchester 30-30 Canadian Centennial 1867-1967 s/n 465xxx back in 1967. I can find no model number or other information.
Anyone have an idea as to the model? It is a carbine as he bought the same gun but in rifle length for my Mother's brother.
I am curios as to the value. It is in almost new shape. However, my Father used it deer hunting one year so it has had maybe 10/15 shels popped through it.
Many thanks for your replies.

Ginger, according to the Blue book, in 98% condition it's worth $395.00.

Thanks for the help. I have a M94 in .45LC made in 2000. The 30-30 is much better in quality by far. 0 -
Ginger,
I think you will find, if I'm not mistaken, that the 45 colt is probably constructed better than the 30-30.
Open the action and check the cartridge carrier on the 30-30 and see if it's stamped metal. I think around 1970, they improved it with a heavier one, amongst some other changes.
