HK USP .45

I have a USP .45 with the standard Safety/De-Cocking combination lever. Is one of the five variants that HK makes, a model that only has the de-cocking lever and not the safety. If so, are the parts interchangable?

  parts are interchangeable, but I don't know of one which doesn't have the safety.
  
  When in doubt...empty the magazine!!

  You're referring to Variant 3.
  
  Check p. 9 of the owners manual and you'll find the table describing all the variants. HK has the manual online in pdf format:
