found a wooden parade/training rifle tied intop of a garage, looks like a bolt action m1 garand 43" long. tin buttplate says (made in usa parris-dunn corp clarinda iowa) any info appreciated....respectfully

  Garands arent bolt actions, maybe its a 1903 or 1917???
