winchester 70 bolt part
need some help in ordering a part for my model 70 bolt.
at the very rear end of the bolt is what i refer to as a bolt sleeve
end cap that is held on by a pin.. I need the PIN but am having one
h--- of a time with the correct part number to give Numrich or Brownell. nothing in their supply parts books make reference to an
end cap.. can anyone help model 70 is in the 825xxx serial range

Brownells shows a 'Breech Bolt Sleeve Lock Pin' (Winchester PN 4100A0120) for $2.61
Their is also a 'Safety Pin' (Winchester PN 4140A0150) for $3.90
My guess is it's the second one.
Some guys like a mag full of lead, I still prefer one round to the head.

Sir, e-mail me at jmothes@pld.com, I will check tomorrow, I think I have the part you need. It is a cross pin that holds a cap on the end of the firing pin, is that correct? This was not one of Winchester's better ideas. 0
