  The price quoted would seem high to me. This is a Spanish piece and is really no more than a trade gun. No collector interest... Never will be!
  
  Spend that $500.00 on a used Elcee, Sterlingworth, Ithaca, or Lefever (the real Lefever, not the Ithaca version). For that money you'll get a well used field gun, but one in good condition that will outlast you and yours. Take care of it and the value will probably increase over time.
  
  Or, buy a Mossberg and toss steel shot till hell won't have it. It won't ever be worth much, but it'll always be there.

  If you decide to put this one up for auction, please let me know its GunBroker auction number. I would like to place a bid on it. They are a well made ---- but none the less --- Spanish "field" gun.
