Who else made Triangular Handguard AR's?

Is colt the only company that made an AR with the triangluar handguards like the SP-1?

For another, PWA made them, probably more.

Never heard of essential arms, could you give me some more information on them? Are they new, old, still in business? Did they make AR's, import them, or what?

I bought my second preban Eagle Arms EA-15 with an A1 upper, so it had the triangular hand guards. Higher 4 digit serial number. But back in 93 I got my first EA-15 but with an A2 upper, therefore non triagular and it had a very low 5 digit serial number.
