Turk Mauser K.Kaled 1940 1945's
I bought SIX of these turks for 53 bucks a piece.
All are 1940 or 1945 recievers.
All have the "Lip" on the front reciever ring
3 Had broken firing pins
2 have all matching except bolt.
Anyway I am keeping for collecting purposes, but I want to know just in case,
How do I know if they have the Large thread diameter?
Every one keeps telling me the Turks are small thread and I was hoping not.
I'm giving a few of these rifles to my friends and family for wall hangers cause
they cleaned up so nice.

I Measured the front of the Barrel/ Reciever ring It apperars to be just over 1.1 inches If I'm not mistaken Large ring threads are 1.1" O.D. and 12 TPI. and .625" long
And Small rings are .980" OD and 12 TPI
Am I stupid or Do these not seem to be Large ring Mausers?
Please correct Me if I'm Wrong

I've heard and read (I think in a Midway catalog) that you can't tell from looking at or measuring the outside ... only way to tell for sure is to remove the barrel, barrels are all the same size but have different thread pitchs ... I know thats not much help but didn't see any one else responding!

99.9%+ of them have large ring reciever tapped for small ring barrel.
