Question for All Dealers ?
Is it a federal law that all handguns must be locked up in a safe at night when business is closed ?

Not a Federal law. But a very good idea. Most of the pawnbrokers I know put up the handguns and the jewelry at night.

I doubt it. My dealer don't do that, at least not the one in AL. They have to cover the glass cases so pistols are not visible or maybe they just choose to. All them burglar bars seem to work good for him too.

The reason I ask is that we were robbed the other night and had 7 handguns stolen from our business. We do not lock up the handguns because we have over 75 in stock. Someone told me that they thought it was federal law that they must be locked at night. Wasnt sure so I asked here. Thanks. 0
