Weaver Scope
A friend has a weaver scope that needs repair. Are they still in business?
Dealer told him water got inside and if he opened it up the gas would leak out. How can water get in without gas not getting out?
Is there a place that repairs scopes reasonable? Thanks
Jim

Can any one comment good or bad on a weaver v24 scope? Thinking of buying one to put on my 22-250 for varmit hunting. THANKS. 0 -
I have checked my copy of Old Rifle Scopes by Nick Stroebel and there is no Weaver 334 listed. There is a 344. It was in 4X and was produced from 1933 to 1947. I could find no info on the mount. 0 -
Thanks for the info. You're right on the model. My hands didn't type what they had written!! It is a 344 Weaver with patent pending on the tube so I'm assuming that it is an earlier production model vs later. Thanks. 0 -
The TO3 base fits Win. 52,60,60A,67,68
and Rem.33,34,41,341,370 -
Thank you responders. My questions have been answered. Thanks again.
