What coated cleaning rod?
Looking for a good brand of coated cleaning rod. Which one would be best given that where I shop I have a pretty good select from the following brands of jags, brushes, and such:
Hoppes
Outers
Kleen Bore
Pro Shot
If it won't accept pieces from these brands, at least without an adapter, then it won't do me much good. Thanks.

Most everyone has standard 8-32 threads now. (17 is 5-40) Midway has decent rods and the accessorys to go with them. Kleen-Bore makes decent rods also. Hope I helped a little. GHD 0 -
Dewey makes a good 'un too.

I just spent over $200 on a set of Bore Tech rods for my rifles and shot guns. They really are terrific rods. Cushioned grips with ball bearings so the jags don't unscrew them selves. Take a look at:

I would say for the money Dewey is the way to go.
You can get them from www.brownells.com
They have standard treads

Dewey is what I use. Good cleaning stick!
