I think that may be a little high for a used one, the extra mags should be available from any dealer, if they dont stock them they can order them for you

It sounds like a good deal to me, cheap for a pawn shop. Everyone I know who has one seems to be very pleased with them for their price. Extra magazines shouldn't be very hard to find at all, call around at some guns shops, most should be able to order them for you.

I usually see these guns used in good-exc condition for about $100 as a reasonable market value, don't know what the book says.

Yes you paid a fair price considering gun functions and is in great shape. These clips are available from $19.99 and up from your local dealer. If you cant find one I have some new ones in our shop I will send you . Email me if you need them.

Hi Points have lifetime warranty on parts. If anything breaks, you can get the part free, minus any shipping costs....

Maybe I just didn't see it, but did you get a carbine or a pistol?

Either way, I think $80 is a fair price. $80 is actually damn cheap considering it's a pawn shop purchase. With the exception of new guns, all the ones around me have been expensive. (For example: a used Jennings Nine for $140).

$80.00 is a pretty good deal, I think new reatai is about $135.00 anyway if your happy with it whats the difference.

When Clinton left office they gave him a 21 gun salute. Its a damn shame they all missed....

Ever see the movie "Tommy Boy"? Anyone can you-know-what in a box and slap a warantee on it. What you bought was $80 worth of junk. No offense but I haven't met a soul that would let their life and personal defense rest upon the reliability of a Hi-Point pistol. I've heard nothing but good about their carbine but most people buy that for fun and plinking. I got a GREAT deal on my first car. It was a used '85 Dodge Charger. I owned it for 10 months and probably sank 20% of the original purchase price into upkeep. I know that your Hi-Point has a warantee but how much are you going to spend in shipping fees to have it repaired? Considering that most dealers will charge you $20 (at least) to receive the gun, I would suspect that your original purchase price will be paid again after three trips to the Hi-Point factory for repairs.
