How's this for $500?
OK guys, how did I do?
I just picked up a Walther P88 9mm with a 15 rd mag. Almost new condition - maybe 200 rds through it. AND a Winchester model 1200 (plain barrel with screw in choke tubes). Stock has a couple scrathes, but nothing a little sanding and staining won't take out. ALL for only $500.

May I borrow your mask? How will your conscience let you sleep from here on? I hope you did not take advantage of some poor grieving widow, etc..
If the P88 is a full-size and not a compact, they generally bring at least $800 to $1200, depending on condition, box and number of magazines. The Winchester should be worth about $150, give or take.0 -
Really, how will you sleep at night. LOL I would have taken that offer in half a second flat. Actually less than that, I wouldn't have even thought about it. I would have just pulled the cash out of my...shook the persons hand to finalize the deal, and ran away as fast as I could before they changed their mind.
I'm so evil....LOL

A lady I work with was getting rid of her ex's "old junk" after he left her. She just wanted them gone and said the first person to come up with the money could have them. Needless to say, I had my ATM card in hand and was making a mad dash for the cash machine before she even named her price. She knew what it was worth too. Oh well. At least I'll still respect myself in the morning. 0 -
It is one thing for the guy to leave her, but if he was dumb enough to leave the guns behind when he went, he deserves to have them sold for that kind of money. Nice save, at least now they'll be somewhere where they can be appreciated. 0 -
if the guns are registered in the ex's name there might be a chance that he could report them stolen. i'm not a lawyer so don't take my word for it. do your own research..... 0 -
Saxon and Dawg are probably on the right track. Ex's like to cause trouble. Worst case senario. Husband reports guns stolen, gives police descripition and serial numbers. Ex's get back together, police receive anynomus tip on location of said firearms. You get charged felony receiving stolen firearms. I'm kidding, wish I could find bargains like that. 0 -
Maybe someday some other guy will get the chance to do the same to you. Will you enjoy it then as much as you are now? 0 -
