Rossi Mod 92 Lever Action loading gate

I have a Rossi Mod 92 (Puma) 44 Mag lever action. The loading gate edges are really sharp. The gun is practically new, so I guess sharp edges are to be expected. Should I wait to see if it dulls up with use, or do you recommend somehow knocking the sharp edges from the loading gate without it looking like a hack job?

  A Dremmel with a fine kratex bit and a little cold blue should do nicely......disasemble and work from the inside ..wash all dust out after......work slow and a little at a time...
