This is one of those strange rumors that come from........? The Sendero is an excellent rifle, great accuracy. I've never seen a bad report on them, and those of my customers that have them really like them.

I'm getting 1 ragged hole at 100 and 150yds with a sendero 7mm mag and my neighbor is getting the exact same results with the 300 Ultra Mag Sendero. I would buy them all if I could afford it. They are highly accurate right out of the box. Best production gun I have ever owned.

    When in doubt...empty the magazine!!

This rumor must have been started by a competing rifle manufacturer who noticed how big a market share the sendero is commanding. I have 3 now, a 300 mag, a 7mm mag that I had reamed to ultra mag, and a 270. All 3 perform better I could have ever hoped for. Notice I have 3, and will continue to buy them, as I come across the right deals.
    Good luck.

    Hi
I just wanted to get some feed back on what you guys think about this gun. Im not crazy about ordering it online, but its hard to find one in the stores since they stopped making them. Let me know what you think. Thanks

i would think that ordering off a big websire like that or gunbroker would really pose any risk, as long as your careful.

They aren't making all that much on it,..maybe $60-$70, so yes I would say that was a fair price. They are some of the best rifles out there,..no doubt about that. I have now loaded and worked with handfulls of sendero rifles and they ALL shot extremely well with the right ammo.

There is some truth to the chamber rumor,..but all factory rifles can/will sometimes come through with slight tolerance variances,..but that does not affect their shooting unless they are really bad. I have worked with a 300win sendero that had a rough spot in the chamber where the reamer was dull,..and it still went 1/2" at 200yds[:0]

why chase the game when the bullet can get em from here?....
    Got Balistics?

would you guys happen to know where I could view some Senderos on the website at? I want to get a good feel for what I want when I can buy one at the shop. I live in Clearfield, Pa and looked at Bob's army and Navy and Grices, but they do not have any at this time. If you could please tell me where to look. Thank you

I have the 300RUM sendero and it is a great shooting rifle. It will definetly "reach out and touch someone" at long ranges. My son used mine at a 1,000 yd shoot and done ok,(6 out of 8 on the paper). The price you showed is a fair price.I don't think you will go wrong with that rifle.Good shooting...Al[:D][:D]

Just do a search on the auctions or use the remington website.

don't have a large caliber sendero, but do have an old one in 22-250 w/ss fluted bull barrel. it is absolutely a tack driver. shot a coyote at 700+ yards this year. my gun is a bit heavy to carry all day and somewhat end heavy with the barrel - would i trade or sell - no way....

    I am ..... gone huntin'
