What is a Colt Stagecoach .22 auto rifle in excellent condition worth? There is no rust and metal and wood is 95%.

Unfortunately, the Blue Book is only a guide to values......and sure can't be relied on for an "Exact" value for any Colt! There will be a new Blue Book out shortly and may be shipping right at this moment. The New Blue Book is said to have many revised prices that are supposed to more accurately reflect Colt prices that are prevalent today.

Obviously, it sounds like the guy knows what he has. Given the condition, I suspect he wants at least a "100%" value to start. This is one a starting price to begin negotiations. It wouldn't surprise me if he were to be thinking around $400 and even more like $450, or so.

Nice quality Colts, for the past six months, seem to be going for about 120 to 130% of the High Book prices, and in some cases, even more depending on what depth the pockets are on the collector.

If the guy is serious about selling, get him to ask a price and negotiate from there. Be prepared for a bit of "sticker shock" because the "NICE" guns are being held onto mostly, or priced much higher than "Book." Good Luck! It's going to depend on how bad you want the gun......
