ADL BDL ??

I think it has mainly to do with a hinged floorplate on the BDL, whereas the ADL's floorplate is fixed.

I've felt stupid about my post all day and I just got back to amend it. I hope my credibility, for what little it may have been, isn't completely lost. I see you have many other good answers posted, so I won't bother editing my original message, which was of course, wrong based on no floorplate on the ADL.

Adl doesn't have a floorplate. It is a blind magazine. The Adl because of no opening for a floorplate or magazine should be stiffer and therefore more accurate. I'll probably get a few differing opinions on that but that's my opinion. How many BR guns you ever seen with hinged floorplates? End of argument. GHD

Basicly just fit and finish. ( and drop floorplate)BDL's are "pertier" but I haven't noticed a difference in accuracy. Of course I don't shoot well enough to tell anyway!!!

much less quality finish. Stock is also a quick fit type, just a molded black synthetic or even some straight wood ones. The floorplate is indeed missing. My gunsmith once told me there was some small difference in the machining or a part in the action, but I don't have the slightest what it was. I would opt for the bdl if you are willing to pay the extra.

    When in doubt...empty the magazine!!

The drop floor plate, skip line checkering, ebony foreend, while line spacer in but and grip plate, high gloss finish, higher resale price. GroundhogD is probably correct, but there is nothing wrong with the accuracy on my BDL.

I was misunderstood and didn't clarify myself very well!! The ADL and BDL are both great guns!! After all they both have the most usable action and easiest to work with out there. And to all of you who have seen my many posts anytime the 25-06 comes up, my current 25-06 is a BDL!! I just happen to like and think the ADL synthetic for the money is the best buy out there!! If you want to build a custom rifle, go to Wally World and buy an ADL synthetic and unscrew the barrel take off the stock and you have a heckuva an action to build on at an affordable price!! If you buy Remington you can't go wrong!! GHD
