powder flask
Can anyone describe the powder flask that came in the boxed set with a 1949 Colt pocket revolver? I have been looking for an orginal and saw several 'original' but they were all different. I guess over the years the style may have changed. I know there is a book on powder flasks. Thought someone on here may have one and be able to help me.

It's a smaller flask than for the 36 &44 with a body about 3 1/2"long and a 12 grain spout. It has an embossed eagle with partially opened wings and a neck curving to the left. It may or may not be Colt marked. Colt marked is more valuable. Years back I sold such an unmarked flask and subsequently learned they were also proper in cased sets. 0 -
V35 thanks. Do you know if the eagle has a gun in it's claws? Are there stars above the eagles head? Do you have anymore of these for sale?[:}] 0 -
