Anyone here try one of the US M44 .22s from CMP?
Thinking of buying one if y'all have had good experiences... then all I need to do is pick up the mag and possibly the trigger guard... plus shipping... plus tax... will it be worth it? They are $75 plus $20 shipping.

I ordered one about a month ago from CMP. Still waiting for delivery.
I have read that they are accurate rifles. We'll see.

i've bought 4 so far, one for each of the boys and one for me. all mine have come in exc. or better condition and shoot well, even with a six pound trigger. brownells has mags and trigger guards for them. 0 -
Jonk they are probably the best thing going from CMP. Have bought 3 of them & all had Lyman receiver sights and are very accurate. Trigger can be improved by careful stoning of the surfaces and adjusting the return spring tension. Dave
