CZ 52
The CZ 52 looks interesting and seems quite reasonable. Anyone have any info on them?

I have seen some of the 'new' or recently imported 52's. They do not sem to be as nice as the ones in the past few years. And the prices have gone up.
What's up!!? Where are the 'unissued' parkerized 52's that where selling for $120?
All I see are the re-arsenalle d blued ones with one mag if youre lucky, selling for $150-175.0 -
I LOVE MINE!!!! It's one of the best deals out there. I got mine for 120 dollars on the auction and i am think about getting another one! I have been told that the decockers are not to be trusted but mine works great.
I was told that if you buy one from WWW.JGSALES.COM that you should pay the extra 10 dollars to get the hand select.

I LOVE BOTH OF MINE. The sights are not the greatest, but the
7.62X25 cart. is a rocket.

They are a hard shooting fun gun. The only thing is ammunition is not readily available at local shops so you kind of have to look ahead and buy from a distributor like Cheaper Than Dirt or such. Also the only thing available is FMJ. You can buy a 9mm barrel for them that would give you a better ammo choice.
There is a lot of info on the net. Google search CZ-52. Some good sites and pictures and care of.
I've got two and hardly a single tin can has got away.

The CZ-52 is probably one of the best kept secrets of inexpensive pistols. I've found mine to be powerful, versitile and completely dependable plus there are quite a few accessories for it such as grips, 9mm barrels in threaded, ported and standard and a slide lock. It has a manual de-cocking/safety lever ... excellent pistol.
If you haven't noticed, they get a thumbs up from me ... but that and a dollar will get you a cup of coffee

Real good luck with mine. If it just had some sights. I have heard that the firing pin is prone to breakage so I ordered a spare when I bought the gun quite a while ago. Probably fired 1000 rnds thru it and haven't needed it yet. And yes the 7.62x25 is a real little screamer.
