Hogue Grips Slipping
Any of you had this problem? When I shoot my G22 the hogue sleeve always gets twisted around. Not hard to fix, but can be a nusiance.

I have used the sandpaper type tape that you can place on steps or kids use on skateboards.
I used some on the grips of a Ruger 22/45 and it works great.

Check to see if there is any excess solvent or oil under the grip.

Do you have the the more recent G22 with the grooves molded into the grip? That is the style I have and I use the Pachmayr slip on grip. It has no finger grooves, and molds to the existing grooves on the grip. I have had no problem with this style. The newer Hogue grips have slots inside the sleeve to hold it to the finger grooves. They also have finger grooves on the sleeve.
