California - Kimber
I thought it would save stars to get one thought and one question in one thread. Here goes...California has a great climate and beautiful girls. The gun laws suck but you need to deal with it...good weather...bad gun laws. Whatever!
I ordered the Kimber Gold Match in SS and now I know there are a lot of good holsters out there but I would like to know what your favorite is for combat shoots, 3 gun shoots...I am not sure what to call them but I would like a smooth release from a holster that holds the gun securely during everyday use. I am not trying to CCW. If I am walking around the range I want the gun to stay put.

Hey Lobo--I lived in CalRussia for a while, great climat? you mean great temp. not climat, you have BAD AIR and the water, I used to get a glass of water and let it sit and wait for it to clear up. Well Chuck, the thing you need to be thinking about is that no matter where you live in the good old US of A it is creeping into your back yard as we speak. I just read that Florida is banning personnel assault vehicles (watercraft). We here in Kalif. are banning 50 cals. Hold on to your hat because before long these things will be happening in your home state. We definitely cannot stop voting! It is the only weapon we have left... JMO

Lobo, did you see the previous post related to holsters. The Houge rig I mentioned uses magnets slightly below the surface to hold the weapon, with a positive lock on the trigger guard when in "carry" mode. I use one with a stainless Para P-14, and it works very well. Good luck 0 -

Keep voting Mr Lobo and I will to. Not sure what part of the state old chuck comes from but where Lobo and I live the quality of air is good and I drink bottled water. Not many places in the country where property value is climbing like it is in North County San Diego. I guess that means people are just dying to get out of here.0 -

The only thing wrong with California, is the same thing that is wrong with the rest of the planet. There's allways people who want to force there ways of thinking and their systems of belief on there neighbors. These people have no regard for their neghbors God given rights, to live as free thinking and acting men and women. Our founding fathers recognised this flaw of human nature and knew that people in government were not without this flaw. They constructed our Constitution to protect the citizens of this nation from tirany by these people. If however, the people allow these people to steel their rights and freedoms, yet do nothing to defend them, where should the blame lie? It is the responsibility of every citizen in this nation, not seperated by state, to stand up and defend each other. It will spread to us all step by step, state by state until we all live as sheep if we don't put a stop to it now. United we stand divided we fall. What legacy do you wish to leave to your children? I ask this Question, besides being a member of the NRA, what more can I do help my American brothers and sisters who are at the front lines of the battle.
