To Muzzle Break or not Muzzle Break

    I don't have the answer but I do have a warning. The muzzle break can help or hurt accuracy. It has to do with controlling the gases, which create turbulence that effect, the bullet. I would suggest that if you want to do this then have it done by someone that knows which one to use and how to install it properly. JMTCW.

    Mr. Lobo said it right. Also consider the noise, when you add a muzzle break more noise seems to head in your direction.

    The noise will increase and I don't know why you need to break a .223. Recoil is fairly negligible already.

    Be kind to your buddies who shoot with you!! Don't put the break on!! Your freinds will thank you for thinking of them..breaks in my opinion are about the most obnoxious items to ever show up on the range!!!! GHD

    If your more concerned about muzzle bounce than recoil, look into the AK-74 style flash suppresser

    Some guys like a mag full of lead, I still prefer one round to the head.
