is the walther P22 legal in California yet. And for u compentone what state did u see the pistol in and do u rember the price. THANKS SO MUCH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    I'm in South Carolina.

    I don't know about California legality--I think is should enventially be legal there if not already--it might still have to pass CA's "special" safety testing. I believe the CA State Gov. keeps a record of which current-manufacture firearms are legal.

    I did search the GunBroker site--no current auctions for the P-22; if you try an advanced search, you should find one in "completed auctions". They're pretty fast to delete photos (take up too much hard drive space), but if the auction ended recently, you still might be able to see a picture to be sure that we're talking about the same "P-22".

    The one at the local shop was around $300, if I remember correctly, but I wasn't paying close attention to price since I wasn't planning on buying anything that day.

    Even a gun shop will send you to where you can get the gun you want to. As long as you leave happy.
    This site didn't have any listed. so he'll have to figure out where I ment on his own.

    Just checked the DOJ page for the State of California. Not available to us residents yet by the look of things!

    I was just looking at a P-22 this weekend. It must be a target version as the barrel was longer than the ones shown in the above GB link, and it also had a weight on the end of the barrel. Price in Washington State is $289.00 for the one I was looking at.
