Request info about handgun

I came across a HUSQVARNA VAPENFABRIKS AKTIEBOLAG cal380 pistol. I would appreciate any information about it. It has no markings except what I have already listed above and a serial number.I know that HUSQVARNA made motorcycles but ?????.

  Good morning Oliver; Looking thru my Data Base and several Books on the Subject, I can find NO mention of a .380 being made by HUSQVARNA..
  The Model 07, was a 9mm Browning Short and Long, Clip Fed Swedish Military Pistol. The Next in line was the Model 07, 9mm Browning Long, Clip Fed, BELGUIM Military.. and the First Pistol they made was the Model 1887 Swedish Nagant in 7.5mm Double Action Revolver...So I'm of the opinion that you actually have a 07 model in 9mm Browning Short..A Lot of these Pistols and Revolvers came back to the states after the 2'nd World War...Value Wise they are Valued at $425.00 to $450.00..
  The LAHTI Model 40 is in 9mm Parabellum and are worth upwards to $500.00 on todays Market...Hope this helps you out....Best...

  Husqvarna built rifles and pistols under gov't contract during the war years which were usually copies of Walther and Mauser designs. They may still be in the business, not sure. These are considered to be quality firearms, bringing average prices. Try www.gunsworld.com and browse through the German, Mauser and Walther sites and you may find a picture. Hope this helps.

  Back in the early '60's Swedish Model 07s were being imported, converted to .380. They were being advertised in the back of the National Rifleman (If I remember correctly by Virginia Arms or Ye Old Hunter) for around $20.
  
  But then again....memory is the SECOND thing to go!
