what to buy winchester 1300 or Mossberg 835?

I am wanting to Purchase a Good Quality and Highly Dependable Home Defense Shotgun for home But I really Don't know which one would be the best. The Two that i am Looking at are the Winchester Model 1300 Defender, and the Mossberg Model 835 Ultra Mag.
Any feedback would be Great...

  I had mine for about 10 months and i have shot all kinds of ammo on it. For me its very reliable, its inexpensive and its look so cool when u morph it into a tactical shotgun. Good thing on it its that it comes with a 8 round mag already. I wish i can show u mine but i havent figure out how to do it! if u can tell me let me know;)
  
  I really enjoy my 1300 i have no complaints.

  I have both and I like the Winchester better I think the action is just a little smoother.

  Not much you can do with a mossberg 835 for defensive purposes compared to the winchester.

  As a long time mossberg owner I also have to conceed the win probably will make a better home deffense gun. Don't tell my babies.

  Comparing the Mossberg 835 to the Winchester 1300 Defender is unfair; they are designed for different purposes. If you want a Mossberg suitable for home defense look at the 500/590s. I still prefer my Winchester 1300 though.

  Win 1300 is the most flexible for adapting to a home defence usage. They kick like the very devil in 12ga, but held low that will be less of a problem. the 1300 is inexpensive, which counts considering you're going to make after market purchases to adapt it, and it is reliable. The 1300 is the way to go.

  I have both.If you are going to play in the boones go with the 835.The 1300 is what defends my home,and the, well a bunch more things.

  I thought I might add, the Winchester 1300 has less parts than the Mossbergs. Less parts means less to malfunction.
