plastic clips

Anybody have any tips on keeping plastic clips in good,clean working condition.Bought a nylon 77 (or 10c) and was happy to find 5 extra clips for 40.00 Only problem is 4 out of 5 need work.Is there any way to lubricate and clean these?These are 10 round clips and they work OK as long as I don't put more than 4 rounds in them.Remington is REAL proud of new clips,like between 15 and 20 bucks.I was thinking of baby oil as a lube,and because the little woman is probably thinking they could double as suppositories.Thanks in advance

  Try some Armor ALL, the same stuff you use on vinals and plastics in your car, works great on leather too. One of my classmates uses it on his leather duty rig, you'd think he polished it every day.
