C&R license
Once you apply for a C&R license, how long does it take to get one.

Are the c&r license worth the cost and time to get if one just buys or trades a old gun 4-5 times a year? Also how often do you have to renew them? Thanks 0 -
Waiting on mine also. Have heard from FFL friends that have sent in the're renewals on schedule that there has really been a backlog after 9/11. They don't even have the application forms for an FFL. They are on backorder.

Through my shop I have assisted a number of people get their C&R, and it is running anywhere from 30 to 90 days, alot depends on the part of the country you are from.If you are in Ca,NJ, Mass or New York City, or some of it's nearby counties you may even be subject to a interview or the longer period.Here is site that is somewhat helpfull http://www.goldenloki.com/misc/crffl.htm
