Reloading Rimfire Brass, Cont.
Make a paste using strike-anywhere match heads and water, tuck it into the rim and let it dry thoroughly. Load the brass with 3fg and crimp with a wire stripper modified by a Dremel using a small dia. cylindrical stone. Bevel the crimping edges to about 1/32 wide.
There are two methods of removing matchtips; one way is to gently roll a match under your sole until the head falls off, the other is to slowly and carefully use a single edged razor blade. This is best done outdoors with safety glasses. You want the tips only, not the heads.

There is an article about three issues back of the Backwoodsman magazine that describes how to reload .22 rimfire cases. It is basically the same method described in the first two posts. BE CAREFUL in trying this. 0
