Wichester 33 Ammo
I have a chance to buy some original 33 Win. ammo from a friend.I want to be fair in the price but not over pay either.I have to make the first "offer".There are 2 boxes of Remington Kleanbore (red + green box).4 boxes of Winchester in the red, white, and yellow boxs with the large W accross the top.One box earlier Winchester in the blue, yellow, and red box with the small w accross the bottom. All box's in very good condition except one. Thanks for any help, Bob

I HAVE SEEN THESE SOLD A GUN SHOWS FOR $40/50 PER BOX IF ORIGINAL. 0 -
mike is right on target. even empty cases necked down from 45-70 shells are expensive. the ammo depot in IL lists them 34.00 per 20 / loaded at 40.00 per 20. cowboy action shooting has driven up the price in the last couple years along with a renewed intrest in lever guns. period ammo in good shape in original boxes would command a higher premium. my father has a win 1886 takedown carbine in .33 win. its a great gun.hpoe i helped. 0 -
These typically bring $38 - $45 at auction in good or better condition. An absolutely pristine box would be worth more as a collector item; the lesser quality boxes typically are purchased to obtain shooting ammo in the obsolete caliber.
