P -14, P-17 SAME STOCK????? ENFIELDS
WILL THESE RIFLES TAKE THE SAME STOCK?

The only thing similar in these two rifles is the "P" in their name.

if you are building a sporter, yes they are the same (for all practical purposes) the p-14 is originaly a .303 british and the p-17 is .30/06. if you are restoring one to original, there are slight differences. the lower part of the action (the area that mates with the stock) is the same on both rifles. 0 -
the magazine well is smaller on the p14 stock and the barrel channel is smaller down by the breech end 0
