"Crescent Moon" proof mark BP pistol?

Anyone have any info (country,date)of what appears to be a crescent moon proof mark followed by a two digit serial # on lower octagon (3 inch) barrel and frame.Single shot, percussion box lock action, walnut grip, straight trigger with slight re-curve on bottom tip,. Approx .44-45 cal. Thanks
