Glenfield Model 60

A friend of mine was given one of these 22 cal. and was wondering the value and are they any good. Who made it also. Thanks.

These were manufactured by marlin, nice plinkers and you can find them for auction at $100 or less

Most of them are good guns,but when you get a bad one they are very difficult to get it to function properly.

Make sure you shoot higher end ammo is this gun also, it will not feed cheap lead tip rounds. Gun value is about $50-60 bucks.

My dad gave me a glenfield, I think it was a model 70 though, but it kept jamming, as I got older I started tinkering with gun and learning more, figured out that it had a broken extractor, ordered a replacement for a marlin, replace it along with a new marlin magazine and it shoots probably better than the day it was purchased.
